Description: Series of layers that analyze parcels within Green Zones Districts for their zoning and proximity to Sensitive Uses (500' buffer). This relates to Help Desk ticket #449843. The parcels were extracted on 10/12/21. These parcels were cleaned up for empty APNs and Assessor errors, along with 'condos' being identified (stacked parcels). Additional analysis that pertained to the Help Desk ticket was done that are reflected in the following fields:Duplicate Parcel - Indicates whether this is a 'stacked duplicate' parcel that the Assessor frequently uses to delineate a condominium property.Within 500' of Sensitive Use? (YES/NO) - This was the result of a model output that combined all the Sensitive Uses and buffered them on 9/29/21 (this was done specifically for the Industrial Hemp project, but it applies here as well).Sensitive Uses (YES/NO) - if there is a sensitive use within a parcel, this was flagged. Since there are many layers of sensitive uses, the model output mentioned above was used with a definition query on 0 feet as it made the select by location easier. A -5 foot buffer was used to select and flag these parcels. In some cases, the sensitive use was a buffered point, or it may have only covered part of a parcel.Commercial Zone? (YES/NO) - if there are specific Commercial Zones (C-1, C-2, C-3, C-H, C-M) then they are coded as a "YES' in this column. This was done through a relate with the 'intersected' version of this layer. This was used to help generate the summary counts of unique parcels within commercial zones. Note that the commercial zones C-R and CPD are lumped into the 'All Other Zones' category as they are not relevant for the Green Zones Ordinance. Also, if both a Commercial Zone and Industrial Zone are coded "YES", then that overlap counts in favor of Industrial Zones.Industrial Zone? (YES/NO) - if there are any Industrial Zones on the parcel, they are flagged with a 'YES'. This was done through a relate with the 'intersected' version of this layer. All Other Zones? (YES/NO) - if there are any other zones on the parcel (including the commercial CPD and C-R zones), they are flagged with a 'YES'. This was done through a relate with the 'intersected' version of this layer. Sensitive Use Adjacent to Industrial Zone? (YES/NO) - this was done by selecting any sensitive use that are within 25' of an industrial zone. Rationale behind considering 25' adjacent is that sometimes a residential use is only separated from an industrial use by an alleyway, which is typically 15-20' wide.Planning Areas - From the General Plan - used for summarizing for the EIR.UPDATE HISTORY:11/3/21 - removed CPD and C-R from "Commercial Zone" group, and added Planning Areas.12/14/21 - exported to DRP SDE for use in Map Service (no data updates).
