This is a buffered version of the the National Hydrography Database (NHD) which is used to map streams and other water conveyance features such as canals, pipes, etc. These features are used for mapping, flow modelling, etc. The buffers were created for the SEA project and have the following parameters:150 feet - Lakes, reservoirs & ponds100 feet - Rivers and streams unless specified below300 feet - San Gabriel and Santa Clara Rivers150 feet - San Francisquito, Amargosa, Whittier Narros, Santa Ana Wash, Mescal Creek100 feet - wetlands (NOTE: coded in NHD as 'Swamp/Marsh') |
