Parent Layer: Sensitive Uses

Name: Residential Zoning (A-1 and A-2, occupied res. use)

Display Field: Z_CATEGORY

Type: Feature Layer

Geometry Type: esriGeometryPolygon

Description: Imported into SDE on 12/12/18 - from the following layer in the 'General Plan / Environmental Justice' database: OrdAnalysisProximity_06_parcels_A1_A2_INT_DIS. Below is the original metadata for that layer (#6 below). These iterative layers are part of a proximity analysis as requested by the General Plan section to assist with writing the Green Zones ordinance and determining where zone changes should go (HelpDesk ticket #805650). The following Industrial Zones were considered and intersected with parcels: C-M, M-1, M-1.5, M-2, M-2.5, MPD. Then a 'near' analysis was done within a 1,000' search radius against various sensitive uses. This layer was then used in ArcGIS Pro to publish a hosted layer to be used in a web mapping application for visualization.Selected parcels for industrial zonesIntesected layer 1 with selected zoning categories....deleted sliversDissolved layer 2 on selected fields and exported to SDE for use in the app. THIS IS THE LAYER THAT THE NEAR ANALYSIS WAS DONE ON. After the Near Analysis, the polygons were exported into points - both points and polygon layers are necessary in the app for the zoom levels.Near tables used to join back to layer 3 for the NearDistance fields.Look up tables for residential zoning and specific plan categories used in the sensitive uses map service for the app.Intersection between A-1 and A-2 zoning with parcels - for an additional analysis of residential zoning. Added a field that flags which parcels have residential uses that are notvacant.Selected out 'occupied residential uses' from layer 6 and dissolved on Z_CATEGORY. This was exported into the sensitive uses map service, and also used in the additional near analysis request.
