Description: <DIV STYLE="text-align:Left;"><DIV><DIV><P><SPAN STYLE="font-size:12pt">This is a parcel analysis of slope (</SPAN><A href="https://lariac-lacounty.hub.arcgis.com:443/pages/lariac4-documents-data" STYLE="text-decoration:underline;"><SPAN STYLE="font-size:12pt">LAR-IAC4</SPAN></A><SPAN STYLE="font-size:12pt">) and other characteristics. Internally, this is from DRP HelpDesk ticket #432542. A couple of models were developed to do an overlay analysis of certain types of parcels and slope. Criteria is as follows:</SPAN></P><P><SPAN STYLE="font-weight:bold;font-size:12pt">Parcel Characteristics</SPAN></P><UL><LI><P><SPAN STYLE="font-size:12pt">Unincorporated</SPAN></P></LI><LI><P><SPAN STYLE="font-size:12pt">VHFHSZ</SPAN></P></LI><LI><P><SPAN STYLE="font-size:12pt">Privately owned (no -300, -900)</SPAN></P></LI><LI><P><SPAN STYLE="font-size:12pt">Code if vacant per ASSR, and if it has building on it (due to possible Assessor error)</SPAN></P></LI></UL><P><SPAN STYLE="font-weight:bold;font-size:12pt">Slope Characteristics:</SPAN></P><UL><LI><P><SPAN STYLE="font-size:12pt">Number of parcels in which 50% or more of the parcel is covered by "0% - 24%" slope – To assess the likelihood of parcels having contiguous developable terrain on them</SPAN></P></LI><LI><P><SPAN STYLE="font-size:12pt">Number of parcels in which 50% or more of the parcel is covered by "25% - 49%" slope – To assess the likelihood of parcels having contiguous HMA terrain on them</SPAN></P></LI><LI><P><SPAN STYLE="font-size:12pt">Number of parcels in which 50% or more of the parcel is covered by "50% or greater" slope – To assess the likelihood of parcels having contiguous hazardous terrain on them</SPAN></P></LI><LI><P><SPAN STYLE="font-size:12pt">Number of parcels in which 90% or more of the parcel is covered by "50% or greater" slope – To assess how many parcels would be effectively required to obtain an HMA CUP under the new provisions</SPAN></P></LI></UL><P><SPAN STYLE="font-weight:bold;font-size:12pt">IMPORTANT NOTE: This layer is exported from the 'Unin_FH_Parcels_Clip' parcel polygon layer based on the following query: Public_Private </SPAN><SPAN STYLE="font-weight:bold;font-size:12pt">=</SPAN><SPAN STYLE="font-weight:bold;font-size:12pt"> </SPAN><SPAN STYLE="font-weight:bold;font-size:12pt">'Private'</SPAN><SPAN STYLE="font-weight:bold;font-size:12pt"> </SPAN><SPAN STYLE="font-weight:bold;font-size:12pt">And</SPAN><SPAN STYLE="font-weight:bold;font-size:12pt"> VHF_ONLY </SPAN><SPAN STYLE="font-weight:bold;font-size:12pt">=</SPAN><SPAN STYLE="font-weight:bold;font-size:12pt"> </SPAN><SPAN STYLE="font-weight:bold;font-size:12pt">'YES'</SPAN><SPAN STYLE="font-weight:bold;font-size:10pt"> </SPAN></P><P><SPAN STYLE="font-size:12pt">A map series was also produced that was driven by the 'slope characteristics' listed above. </SPAN></P><P><SPAN STYLE="font-weight:bold;font-size:12pt">UPDATE HISTORY:</SPAN></P><UL><LI><P><SPAN STYLE="font-size:12pt">August, 2022 - models created and ran to generate the slope / parcel intersects and calculations. An initial draft of the map series created with point version of the data.</SPAN></P></LI><LI><P><SPAN STYLE="font-size:12pt">October, 2022 - Added Catalina Island to this data (it was missed in first analysis).</SPAN></P></LI><LI><P><SPAN STYLE="font-size:12pt">11/22/22 - Imported to SDE (Hazards database) for use in a map service to show all unincorporated parcel centroids. Source layer "Unin_FH_Parcels_Clip_Points_VHF_Private" in Env_Planning_Sustainability directory.</SPAN></P></LI></UL><P><SPAN /></P></DIV></DIV></DIV>
