Features in this layer represent habitat areas not designated by the <\/SPAN><SPAN STYLE=\"font-weight:bold;\">California Coastal Commission <\/SPAN><SPAN>as either <\/SPAN><SPAN STYLE=\"font-weight:bold;\">H1<\/SPAN><SPAN>or <\/SPAN><SPAN STYLE=\"font-weight:bold;\">H2.<\/SPAN><\/P><P><SPAN>Regarding the multi-part feature identified as <\/SPAN><SPAN STYLE=\"font-style:italic;\">\u201cNorthern border areas added to H3\u2026\u201d<\/SPAN><SPAN>, these are classified as <\/SPAN><SPAN STYLE=\"font-weight:bold;\">H3<\/SPAN><SPAN>because they were not initially shown as part of the Coastal Zone when the California Coastal Commission (CCC) approved, and the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors adopted, the <\/SPAN><SPAN STYLE=\"font-weight:bold;\">Local Coastal Program (LCP) Biological <\/SPAN><SPAN>3<\/SPAN><SPAN STYLE=\"font-weight:bold;\">Resources Map<\/SPAN><SPAN>. Subsequent to that approval and adoption, but prior to its certification of the LCP, the CCC refined the Coastal Zone boundary, which prompted these areas to be added to the Coastal Zone. Therefore, the <\/SPAN><SPAN STYLE=\"font-weight:bold;\">H3<\/SPAN><SPAN>added areas are shown on the online GIS maps with the understanding that any proposed development on properties overlaid entirely or in part by them would require determination of the correct habitat category(s) on a site specific basis, using the procedure outlined in <\/SPAN><SPAN STYLE=\"font-weight:bold;\">Los Angeles County Code Section 22.44.1830<\/SPAN><SPAN>.<\/SPAN><\/P><P STYLE=\"margin:0 0 0 0;\"><SPAN STYLE=\"font-weight:bold;\">Derived from \\DRP_ADVANCE_PLANNING\\community_studies\\layers\\Coastal_Zone\\SMMLCP.gdb\\SMMLCP_H3_Habitat_Detailed.<\/SPAN><\/P><\/DIV><\/DIV><\/DIV>",
