Building footprint data was digitized from the imagery captured from January 2023 to June 2023 for buildings larger than 300 sq. ft to update existing building footprints. This data was originally created in 1992 and has updates in 2003, 2006, 2008, 2014, 2017, and 2020. <idPurp>This feature class GIS dataset contains building footprints depicting building shape and location in select portions of Los Angeles County. This is to detail erect buildings not under construction or ruin that serves a primary business, government, or residential function.
HEIGHT is the height of the building and ELEV is the elevation of the roof (elevation of foot print + height). </idPurp>
